I currently collect children from St Joseph’s school and preschool in Devizes and Noah’s Ark.
My work setting is based in my three bedroom house with a large rear garden.
I operate 5 days a week from 8-6pm.
I have a dedicated playroom which has a wide variety of toys and resources for the children to access free play and make independent choices. The rear garden is large flat and completely enclosed, the children have a wide variety of outside toys and equipment such as trikes, scooters, mud kitchen sand/water ect.
I am within walking distance of local schools, shops, library, large open family park, toddler groups, children’s centre, also a short car journey away from woods and other activities.
I have been working with children for 20 years so have a wealth of experience, I have an Ofsted Good grading.
Foundation degree in early years,
First Aid, Makaton level 3,
Safe Guarding Children Level 3
Food Hygiene level 2
Managing Childrens behaviour,
I am able to offer the free entitlement funding to 2, 3 & 4 year olds
Katherine Dugdale
Hi, my name is Katherine Dugdale. I have three boys of my own and have been childminding for 4 years.
Before that I was a primary school teacher but discovered when I had my own children that I preferred working with younger children.
I love the outdoors and we spend a lot of our time in the woods that are within walking distance from my house and jumping in muddy puddles. We also regularly visit the library, park and farms.
I provide a safe, friendly environment with plenty of activities to encourage development whilst having lots of fun.
As well as a PGCE, I have the following qualifications:
Level 3 NVQ in home-based childcare
First aid
Safeguarding
I am open Mon – Fri except Thursdays and I accept funded places for 2,3 and 4 year olds.
I do drop offs for Chirton Primary School.
