Hi! My name is Carla Figueira and I am originally from Portugal. I ‘ve been in UK for  almost 20 years and I have been working as a  registered childminder for over 7 years.  I am accredited childminder since 2012 and I am part of a Quality Assurance Scheme.

I love working with children, I have good sense of humour, and I am reliable and flexible.

I live with my family (husband and two sons aged 13 and 17) in a good size 3 storey 4 bedroom house on the outskirts of Devizes, Wiltshire (near B&Q area).

I received from OFSTED an overall good with many outstanding areas since 2007. With last inspection in September 2015 graded “GOOD”. My report is available upon request.

Children and I have great fun visiting local toddler groups, parks,  farms, woodland areas and  lots of gardening / outdoor  activities.

My setting is fun and flexible! Children  feel at home and leave my setting well prepared and ready to start school.

Some of my childcare qualifications include; NVQ level 3 in childcare, learning and development; EYFS; First Aid and anaphylactic shock training; advanced safeguarding and child protection level 3, speech and Language therapy training. I have also experience of working with children and families with additional needs and family with twins. 

I can provide funded places for 3 and 4 year olds (15 hours per week at the moment), I can also provide funded places (15 hours per week) for 2 year olds (funding criteria will apply – check Wiltshire council website). I am also registered with several childcare vouchers agencies.

I work Monday to Friday from 7.30am to 6.30pm.
